books read
I had to read this for a book discussion at work and it was okay. It was kind of like a Studio Ghibli movie as a book, but I really wished the colors weren’t so monotone and dark. Almost the whole book was dark navy and I don’t think that would appeal to young readers and it’s definitely more of a YA book. I don’t know why the children’s department chose to read it.
