I…my soul…it is dead. Gone. Crushed into oblivion by this book. Has a book ever existed that is so perfect and soul torturing? That is doubtful. Can you tell I loved this book? I haven’t had a new favorite book in so long, and yet now I have two in a row, THE RAVEN BOYS and now DAISY JONES AND THE SIX. Taylor Jenkins Reid is obviously a goddess. Everything about this book is utterly amazing, and it’s probably a problem that I relate to Billy Dunne. But DAMN, I just loved this book. brb, running off to fill the Daisy Jones void with THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO to have my soul crushed some more.

I picked up my copy of A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC on a whim because I was trying to decide if I should get rid of it and immediately bought the ebook because I prefer ebooks and also really honestly have too many books in my apartment and need to ditch some, but I am liking it as of 6% into the book. This is my first Victoria/V. E. Schwab experience so I’m excited to see if she is in fact worth the hype.

I keep meaning to read LOVE FROM A TO Z so I’m planning to start that one and read it at the same time as A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC. Then I’m also in the mood for a guaranteed HEA because I’ve read so a couple books that have destroyed me recently so I’m going to give THE WEDDING DATE a shot.
