24in28 Readathon

Finally! It’s here! A 24-hour-ish readathon that I can actually participate in! I’ve been very sad the past couple months because I couldn’t do either Dewey’s Readathon in April because I was working on that Saturday or their one later this month on July 28 because I am working then, too. However, I rediscovered the 24in48 Readathon, which is taking place July 21-22, and I am NOT WORKING!!!! I can’t think of a more delightful way to spend my weekend off than reading a ton and nothing else. Oh, and drinking tea and snacking on good things. Those too.

The goal of the 24in48 Readathon is to read for 24 hours over the course of a 48-hour period. You can break up the time however you want, but I really want to do it for as many hours straight as possible.

My ideal schedule would be to readathon from exactly 12:01am on Saturday until 12:01am on Sunday. I have tried to do a few 24-hour readathons but have never made it, and honestly probably won’t start now, but I can dream. I just want to read for as many hours as possible during the 48-hour period.

Here are a few of the books on my TBR list that I’m considering reading for this readathon event:

Are you participating in 24in48? Which of these books should I start with first??

  1. I participate in one 24in48 Readathon in the past and got quite a bit of reading done (though not the full 24 Hrs) 🙂 Good luck with your TBR! I’m especially excited to see what you think of Warcross and Wildcard!

    1. I’m doing terribly on the readathon (I’ve only clocked in 2.5 hours so far, though I read a ton in the few hours before it actually started) but I’m loving Warcross!! It’s so different from what I usually read but the characters and worldbuilding are just so on point!
